About Me

Welcome all!

For those of you who know me from my previous blog, “Confessions of an English Major,” welcome back! I’m so glad you’re willing to follow me along on my newest journey.

For all my newcomers, welcome! I am so excited to get to know you and share the written word with you!

This blog is called Confessions of a 20-Something because everything I write is a confession in some way or another. I pour my heart into my writing and my pen is often times the vehicle for the words my mouth cannot seem to utter. I aim to inspire people through the written word. Words are powerful weapons and it’s important we know the best way to use them to our advantage.

I am a graduate of Colorado State University and have an English degree. I currently do not feel qualified to be an adult but here I am in the real world, just trying to eke by each day.

I believe that we can learn so much from those around us, which is why I always welcome constructive criticism, feedback and comments of any kind. Love a post? Let me know! Hate a post? Let me know! I want to hear from you! (After all you “listen” to me talk all the time, take a break now and then!)

I always like to put faces to names when it comes to common people in writing so here are some of the important characters in my life that you might read about at some point on this blog.

Marina, that’s me!
